SESSION ONE
What You’re a Part Of
Welcome to Sons & Daughters! We’re so glad you’re here!
You’re becoming part of the dream to see at-risk Saskatoon kids and families supported in relationships.
Sons & Daughters is part of the global Hands at Work movement that began supporting families in South Africa in 2002. The impact of mobilizing churches to support vulnerable families had such an incredible impact that it spread through 8 countries in Africa. In 2016 the first steps were taken to apply that same model here in Saskatoon: the first time it has been used outside Africa!
S&D is building relationships to strengthen Saskatoon families at risk of separation. Our dream is to help stop intergenerational family separation and trauma.
Our relational approach weaves supportive friendships around at-risk families, keeping more children in homes and families.
By volunteering, you become a thread of relationship woven around families!
Office & Contact
We are a pretty simple organization. We have a mailing address (see below), but we don’t have a fixed office; instead, we partner with Saskatoon churches who generously provide space to meet and work. Our office hours are 9am - 4pm. You can call or text us at (306) 250-6305. If you have any concerns or feedback, feel free to reach out to any of us.
Mail: #101 - 733 Broadway Avenue, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7N 1B3
